Newtimes Group Leases 113,629 SF at East Park Distribution Center
Ackerman & Co. completes lease at Class A facility it acquired earlier this yearin Atlanta’s I-20 East corridor.
Atlanta, September 28, 2023 – Ackerman & Co. has completed a 113,629-square-foot lease with Newtimes Group at East Park Distribution Center, a Class A distribution facility in Conyers, Ga. Newtimes is expected to take occupancy in fourth-quarter 2023, using the space as its new regional headquarters and supply chain hub for the sports apparel and accessories that it distributes.
Ackerman & Co. Senior Vice President Brett Buckner represented ownership in the lease, and Ackerman & Co.’s Chris Miller and Harris Tessler represented Newtimes. Ackerman acquired the 212,232-square-foot East Park Distribution Center in May.

The Newtimes lease signing leaves 98,603 square feet available for lease in the facility, with space options starting at 50,000 square feet.
Positioned in the I-20 East distribution corridor in Rockdale County, the newly built East Park Distribution Center is close to I-20 (2 miles), providing convenient access to Atlanta’s dense consumer submarkets to the east as well as regional connectivity.
Located at 2020 East Park Drive, the rear-load facility features 32-foot clear heights, two drive-in dock doors, more than 200 auto parking spaces, and a truck court with 41 parking spaces. The building also offers multiple access points off of East Park Drive, with separate auto and truck access.
