Ackerman Retail Completes Lease for New Slutty Vegan Restaurant
SVP Bryan Davis represents popular plant-based burger restaurant in long-term lease in Atlanta’s Edgewood Avenue retail corridor
ATLANTA, August 9, 2019 – Ackerman Retail has completed a long-term, 1,510-square-foot lease on behalf of Slutty Vegan at 482 Edgewood Avenue in Atlanta. The popular plant-based burger restaurant plans to open in the coming months along the rapidly developing Edgewood Avenue retail corridor just east of downtown.
Bryan Davis, senior vice president of retail services for Ackerman Retail, represented Slutty Vegan in the lease transaction.
The Edgewood Avenue restaurant will be the third Atlanta location for Slutty Vegan, which currently has a location open in Westview at 1542 Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard and another at 164 North McDonough Street in Jonesboro currently under construction. This is in addition to the food truck that started it all.
Owner Pinky Cole began selling her veggie burgers from her food truck in August 2018, quickly developing a loyal following of customers who lined up for Slutty Vegan’s jumbo-sized, colorfully named burgers such as Fussy Hussy, One Night Stand, Super Slut and more. The restaurant also has a growing presence on social media, including 250,000 followers on Instagram.
