Last week Ackerman & Co.’s 2016 Young Broker of the Year, Ben Campbell, joined members of the Atlanta Habitat Young Professionals Group to put some finishing touches a one-story, two bedroom home in Southwest Atlanta.
The home is for Ms. Taylor, a medical office manager who came to Atlanta in 2007, and her son. It will be completed by the first quarter of 2017.
“I believe in the importance of Habitat’s work throughout the community. I was inspired by my family, friends, Jason Carter and the Carter Foundation to get involved with Habitat Atlanta,” said Campbell, a founder of the Atlanta Habitat Young Professionals Group. “The assistance Habitat Atlanta provides for struggling families is very powerful and acts as a catalyst for neighborhood revitalization.”
Campbell and the Young Professionals Group plan to continue fundraising and build more homes in the Southwest Atlanta area next year.
