El Azteca to Open 10,763 SF Restaurant at Perimeter Town Center

Ackerman Retail completes long-term lease with popular Mexican restaurant at two-level space in Ackerman & Co.-owned mixed-use development in Sandy Springs.

ATLANTA, June 29, 2021 – El Azteca, a popular Mexican restaurant that has been in business for 30-plus years in Atlanta, has signed a long-term lease totaling 10,763 square feet at Perimeter Town Center, a mixed-use development in Sandy Springs. Slated to open in September 2021, the Perimeter Town Center location will be El Azteca’s fourth restaurant, joining locations in Buckhead, Sandy Springs (Roswell Road) and Athens, Ga.

Ackerman Retail’s Courtney Brumbelow and Haley Hartman completed the lease on behalf of the landlord.

El Azteca will occupy a two-story space notable for its wrap-around glass facade and prominent corner location in the Perimeter Town Center building located at 6115 Peachtree Dunwoody Road. The building houses several ground-level retailers and restaurants including One Sushi, Hotworx and Biryanis Place, and medical-office tenants such as Piedmont Health Institute and Perimeter Dental.
