Ackerman & Co. Completes Leases of 18,477 SF at College Park, Ga., Business Parks

Long-term lease of 4,875 square feet with United Medical and Business Institute will provide space for its leading medical training classes.

ATLANTA, August 7, 2020 – Ackerman & Co. has completed a seven-year, 4,875-square-foot lease with United Medical and Business Institute (UMBI) and lease renewals of 7,246 square feet with Fresenius Medical Care North America and 6,356 square feet with Healthcare Staffing Inc. at Phoenix Summit and Royal Phoenix Business Campus in College Park, Ga.

UMBI’s long-term lease at 1903 Phoenix Boulevard in Phoenix Summit office park will accommodate the education provider’s leading medical training classes, including Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant and Medical Business Administration programs. UMBI will take occupancy on November 1.

Ackerman & Co. Broker Kris Redding represented UMBI in the lease transaction. Redding and Ackerman & Co. Senior Vice President Frank Farrell represented landlord OA Development.

“We’re pleased to complete this long-term lease to provide high-quality space for UMBI’s educational programs. Phoenix Summit provides a convenient location with excellent access to I-285, I-85 and I-75 as well as a variety of amenities, including retail, restaurants and hotels,” said Redding.

At Royal Phoenix Business Campus located at 1720-1724 Phoenix Parkway, Fresenius Medical Care signed a 7,246 square foot lease renewal that includes a budget for extensive tenant improvements and Healthcare Staffing Inc. signed a 6,356-square-foot lease renewal.
