Vice President, Director of Marketing and Communications
A communications and marketing professional with nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Fara plans and executes all corporate and project-level marketing as well as communication initiatives for Ackerman & Co., including external public relations and media relations with local and regional news outlets. As manager of the Ackerman brand, she leads the marketing and research team, developing and implementing tactical marketing for all of the company’s business units and ensuring consistent messaging across the company.
In her role working with Ackerman’s investment partners, Fara provides strategic direction for public relations and marketing initiatives involving projects and acquisitions between Ackerman & Co. and its partners in Atlanta and across the country. Fara also manages all aspects of the company’s annual Investor Conference, from event planning and invitations to the development of content for the PowerPoint presentation that gives the more than 100 investors in attendance a full understanding of market conditions, Ackerman’s annual business highlights, and upcoming opportunities. In this capacity, she helps drive business and grow the firm’s relationships with the investment community.
Prior to Ackerman & Co., Fara spent 13 years at Industrial Developments International Inc. (now IDI Logistics), where she managed the company’s marketing and rebranding standards, the redesign of its print collateral materials and the launching and design of its Website and Content Management System.
