As a member of the Ackerman/Pioneer Land Advisory Group, JT specializes in analyzing, underwriting and selling land for development. His main focus is helping to arrange the sale of land for residential development.
JT and the Land Group strive to maximize the value of clients’ real estate assets by creating a competitive process for prospective buyers, and through extensive research and an in-depth understanding of current supply and demand factors. Since 2012, the team has sold more than 7,000 residential lots and more than 12,000 acres across the Southeast valued in excess of $200 million. The group currently has exclusive control of $100 million in land and building lots throughout Georgia and Florida.
Whether it be a redevelopment site for a high-rise condo building on Biscayne Bay in Miami, a 100-acre pasture targeted for residential development, an apartment site or a large timber tract, the Land Group is ideally suited to help clients maximize the value of their land.
JT and the Land team have sold land for virtually every use, including office, hotel, industrial and multifamily. They also offer expertise in joint ventures, build-to-suits, ground leases, land bankruptcies, estate planning, and 1031 and 1033 tax deferred exchanges.
Born and raised in Atlanta, JT attended Walton High School and continued his education at Georgia State University in the Robinson College of Business, where he studied Finance.
