IN THE NEWS – Farrell Celebrates 15 Years in NAIOP Million Dollar Club

NAIOP Georgia 15-year Million Dollar Club member Frank Farrell is senior vice president of leasing at Ackerman & Co. Specializing in office and industrial leasing, he currently leases Phoenix Office Park, an 11-building project of 350,000 square feet located just south of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport; and Corporate Forum, a six-building project at Windy Hill and I-75 in Cobb County.

A 28-year veteran of Atlanta’s commercial real estate industry, Farrell got his start as a tenant representative working for Richard Bowers. After working with this iconic tenant rep for eight years, he moved onto the landlord side with Ralph Griffin of JT Holding Co. “Ralph offered me a job on the landlord side, and I liked him so I gave it a shot, and have stayed mostly on the landlord side ever since.”

One of the more challenging aspects of a commercial real estate is learning patience, according to Farrell. “Getting a deal done is much more important that being ‘right.’”

His secret to success: “Never argue about a deal.”
